The Paris of the North, Tromsø, is all about champagne and spectacles they say. Back then, they would get fancy clothes from Paris, today tremendous food!
Nordens Paris is putting on the Ritz! Bringing you the charm of Montmartre on wheels with our multiple streetfood trolleys.
Paris has its quartier latin, la Courneuve, Montmartre and the likes, where one can experience Mediterranean, Indian and Asian culture just one arrondissement away, so why not creating a unique food culture on each trolley above the Actic?
That way, one can have dumplings for lunch, crêpes or waffles for dessert, and why not a soup for dinner ? Luckily, Tromsø is small enough that you can actually walk from one trolley to the next without getting lost on google maps.
Whatever the budget and the tooth you have, we are sure to have something tasty to keep you warm during your polar exploration.
How we think
Three things matter to us: ensuring all dietary requirements are catered for, that our products are sourced as locally as possible and that our carbon footprint remains sufficiently low.
Whether you are a vegan, vegetarian or a meat fanatic, we have you sorted. We are a sort of hybrid and versatile version of the best possible worlds where everybody can enjoy streetfood in town.
And, last but not least, in order to offset the transport carbon emission, we burn energy by pushing our food carts by hand. This way we keep fit and healthy for the coming summer season!
Where to find us
Our business hours depend heavily on the weather conditions, but as much as mother nature allows us to do so, we try to remain open every day from early November to the end of March in Tromsø sentrum, from noon to about 6pm.

Crêpes
Satisfy your sweet tooth with our gourmet crepes! Freshly made in the streets of Tromsø in subtemperatures, these delicate delights are filled with everything from classic sugar and lemon to rich homemade Nutella through to reindeer galettes (savory crêpes) and a wide selection of French/Northern classics. A perfect treat for any time of the day before going out for a tour.

Dumplings
Take your taste buds on a journey with our authentic Nepali style dumplings, also called « momos ». The hike that leads to the cable car « Fjellheisen » has been made by a bunch of Sherpas from Nepal. As a souvenir to their hard work, that same hike has been called « Sherpatrappa » after them, the Sherpas trail.

Our Finnmarks Ekspressen is the train ride that has never existed, only as a 100years long political debate that has led to nowhere. You can't board the train all the way to the end of the world, but you can have a bowl of warm soup and get the feeling of how it would have been to undertake such journey! Reindeer, fish or veggie/vegan, you should be able to feel your fingers again very soon. Add some croutons and a bit of greated cheese and the experience is complete ! Combined with a glass of muld wine, what a better way to enjoy winter !
