The Paris of the North, Tromsø, is all about champagne and spectacles they say. Back then, they would get fancy clothes from Paris, today tremendous food!
Nordens Paris is putting on the Ritz! Bringing you the charm of Montmartre on wheels with our delicious homemade crêpes and waffles served from the quaintest food carts.
Taking advantage of all the fresh and exotic products available around our majestic fjords, we combine top-notch French savoir-faire with Northern classics.
Whether you fancy a proper meal on a savoury « galette », something more chocolaty or even just a French coffee or spicy Indian chaï, we are sure to have something tasty to keep you warm during your polar exploration.

How we think
Three things matter to us: ensuring all dietary requirements are catered for, that our products are sourced as locally as possible and that our carbon footprint remains sufficiently low.
Whether you are a vegan, vegetarian or a meat fanatic, we have you sorted. We are a sort of hybrid and versatile version of the best possible worlds where everybody can enjoy crêpes and waffles in town. Both our sweet and savoury batters remain fully vegan, contain no eggs, use oat milk and other plant based products. Everyone is then free to choose from a variety of meat, veggie and vegan toppings.
For a sweet and special touch, we make our homemade chocolate paste, that could almost be compared to your favourite Nutella. The difference being that it’s made without palm oil, is dairy-free, and contains much less sugar whilst retaining the nutty-chocolate flavour that makes your taste buds dance. Just swing by and give it a try!
And, last but not least, in order to offset the transport carbon emission, we burn energy by pushing our food carts by hand. This way we keep fit and healthy for the coming summer season!
Where to find us
Our business hours depend heavily on the weather conditions, but as much as mother nature allows us to do so, we try to remain open every Saturday on the main square « Stortorget » and Saturday night in front of the cathedral, « Domkirke ».
We also take part in various local events that take us to various different locations. Follow us on social media to be updated about our whereabouts so you can find us wherever we are for a delicious treat.
